The Nevis Landscape Partnership is recruiting 2 Seasonal Rangers for the Nevis Area. This varied role, operating on and around Scotland’s highest mountain, will suit individuals with an interest in visitor engagement, managing impacts such as litter and fire rings and carrying out practical conservation tasks such as wildlife recording, basic footpath maintenance and woodland management. You will be confident operating in a mountain environment in all weathers and be able to share your enthusiasm and knowledge of natural heritage and minimum impact best practice with visitors, school groups, and volunteers.
Ideally candidates should be able to start on 5th June 2023
THESE POSTS ARE SUBJECT TO A SUCCESSFUL FUNDING DECISION
STATUS: Full Time (35 hrs/wk) 5 days from 7 on rota (includes regular weekend working).
TERM: Fixed term until 30th September 2023
SALARIES: £23,000 pro rata
LOCATION: Fort William
