2014-2019

Nevis Landscape Partnership Programme

The Nevis Landscape Partnership Programme was a collective response to land management from local and national environmental organisations, charities and community groups who all share a common interest in securing a sustainable future for Ben & Glen Nevis. A unifying aim for the collective was to lever much needed investment into the area to ensure economic vitality, a healthy environment and a vibrant society. The programme began in 2014 and finished in March 2019.

The Heritage Lottery Fund awarded Nevis Landscape Partnership £3.9 million to deliver nineteen projects over five years. Nevis Landscape Partnership staff and a range of local and national organisations, businesses and government bodies  applied a collective approach to managing the landscape which helped to unlock social and financial resources that would otherwise not be available to the community.
