Help Save Scotlands Rainforest: Volunteer Invasive Species Removal Day

Scotland’s Rainforest is a rare and precious ecosystem, but it faces pressure from non-native conifers like Sitka spruce. These trees grow densely, block light, and disrupt the delicate balance that rainforest species depend on. By removing spruce, we’re giving native broadleaf trees and the rainforest’s extraordinary ground flora — from liverworts to lichens — the chance to flourish again.
