Lower Falls Visitor Hub

With thanks to Jahama Highland Estates, who have leased the Lower Falls Car Park to the partnership for a peppercorn rent, we have now taken over the management of this visitor facility. Following a successful application to the Rural Tourism Infrastructure Fund we completed a £450,000 project to improve facilities at Lower Falls in Glen Nevis. These improvements include a new layout of the car park that incorporates additional spaces, toilets, a service bus stop, interpretation, a bike rack and shelter as well as a small picnic area. The car park was formally opened in May 2023. It is a great base to explore this area of Glen Nevis and an access point to the Mamores mountain range. Revenue from parking ticket sales supports our vital partnership work including servicing the car park facilties, improving and maintaining path infrastructure in the area and nature restoration.
