Friends of Nevis AGM - with talks from Dave MacLeod & Ellie Moore

This year's Friends of Nevis AGM will take place in the conference room of An Drochaid in Claggan, from 7pm - 9pm. Tea, coffee, cake, and biscuits will be provided, so have your dinner beforehand but don't fill up on pudding!

After a short AGM to get the official business out of the way, we will be joined by two guest speakers:

Dave MacLeod is a local climbing legend, known for first ascents of routes such as Rhapsody, the world’s first E11 trad route, Anubis XII,12 - one of the world’s hardest mixed climbs - and Echo Wall on Ben Nevis. His latest book, Moving the Needle, details the sequence of key decisions and influences that catalysed his progression from an unremarkable intermediate to one of the best all-round climbers in the world.

Ellie Moore is our very own Engagement Ranger and organises all of our events and volunteering. This year Ellie set off on a once-in-a-lifetime expedition to the Caucasus Mountains in Georgia and has stories of the landscape, people, and wildlife to share.
